My name is Cheryl, I am the founder of Women who share, and a breast cancer survivor.

I was diagnosed 10 years ago and had a double mastectomy. I am also a sonographer, specialising in breasts. But despite my experience and the extensive medical advice & information available to me, I still had unanswered questions.

I couldn’t find out what my post-mastectomy body would actually look and feel like.

So I sought out women who had been there before me; women who were willing to let me come into their homes so I could ask them about their stories, and look at and feel their chests.

This was the genesis of Women who share.
